The Prime Minister and I actor, who just turned 41, had been married to his partner since 2010. Via his agency, Y.ONE Entertainment (retrieved via MBC), Lee Beom Soo divulged that the divorce proceedings had concluded. They reached an “amicable agreement,” and “resolved misunderstandings” that may have arisen during the pair’s espousal. Moving forward as a unit for their kids but otherwise as individual people, the statement attempted to clarify previous speculations, stressing the amiability of the divorce. Additionally, the agency pleaded that further conjecture and guesses be avoided for the “privacy of their children.”
His now ex-wife also posted a handwritten statement on her personal Instagram about the separation. Her thoughts were very similar to her former paramour, adding that they would now “respect and support each other” as parents. Despite their past communication issues that caused their split, they had worked them out, keeping the kids in mind. Concluding on a surprisingly sweet note, she asked for people’s “warm support” for Lee Beom Soo and his upcoming acting projects. Very healthy, indeed!
