A former actor, Rakshitha took to her social media handle to break her silence on the Sarke Chunar controversy. She acknowledged all the posts that she was tagged in, and that she was well aware of the song’s lyrics. She wrote that her stand for or against the song did not matter, but she was more curious to know why nobody reacted to songs like ‘Dreamum Wakeapum’, ‘Peelings’ and ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ among many other. She also mentioned about films around actors talking about s*xual intercourse that still received no outrage.
