Katy Perry last attended the Met Gala in 2022. However, if you are not a fan, chances are you might have fallen for AI Images of her in beautiful outfits, walking the red carpet in both 2024. But no need to worry, because Perry’s mom herself fell for the fake pictures. This year, too, the internet is getting tricked with altered images of Katy at the Gala, and this is how she responded.

Perry responded to these pictures by posting a compilation of them on Instagram of people’s tweets and TikToks.

She hilariously added that her mom is safe this time from the AI bots and she is praying for the fans. This is a callback to last year where her AI generated Image wearing a beautiful floral gown. The picture had everybody tricked even her mom, who texted Perry that she looked beautiful at the event.

While the people are laughing as the incident is repeated second time in a row, it is also concerning as AI is day by day becoming more efficient and realistic. It is also important for us to be aware and take a double look before believing things on the internet.
Though Perry was not at the Met this year, countless other stars from Rihanna to three members of BLACKPINK, Doechii, Sabrina Carpenter and more attended. Katy Perry is currently on the road in support of her 2024 album, 143. The Lifetimes Tour kicked off April 23 in Mexico City.
