KATSEYE’s Yoonchae Slammed For Being “Homophobic”. Stop Assuming Everything, It’s Not That Deep!

KATSEYE is one such group who have been vocal about LGBTQ+ rights and out of the 5 members, Lara is queer and Megan is bisexual. That makes the group a safe and proud space for many fans. Yet, the youngest member, Yoonchae, suddenly found herself called homophobic by thousands of people online. A video from a recent concert started spreading fast, with strangers claiming her face showed dislike toward pride flags. The conversation grew louder on TikTok and Twitter. Some fans got very angry, while others rushed to protect the maknae. Keep reading to see what really happened.
During one concert stop, the members happily waved different pride flags gifted by fans. Cameras caught Yoonchae looking surprised for a second when a rainbow flag appeared near her. That little moment became the proof for some that she hates LGBTQ people. Others saw the same clip and said she simply looked shy or confused because so many flags were moving at once. Fans also noted that the maknae held a pride flag earlier and asked everyone to calm down.
Well, this is not the first time someone in KATSEYE has faced the same accusation. Daniela also got attacked months ago over a misunderstanding that was later cleared up. Moreover, Staff and the girls themselves have always shown love and support at every event.

Right now, KATSEYE is busy with their world tour and meeting fans in new cities. The five members dance, laugh, and have a blast. They do not deserve harsh judgements over a small clip. Being young and on stage is hard enough. Let the girls keep doing what they love instead of explaining themselves every day.
