Did KATSEYE’s Yoonchae Diss Daniela During Lollapalooza Chile 2026?
The youngest member's on-stage actions have fans questioning if she was calling out Daniela.

KATSEYE’s Yoonchae’s Walk To Daniela Dubbed “Shade” Amidst Group Controversies
The ‘Gabriella’ group recently performed a set of their hit songs at Lollapalooza Chile. This took place on March 15, 2026 (local time). From ‘Touch’ to ‘Gameboy’, KATSEYE led the crowd through their famous discography. At one point, the members sang ‘Mean Girls’ from their 2025 EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS’.
Yoonchae, who sings the first chorus, moved towards Daniela. The lyrics while she walked towards the older member were, “Even the mean girls/ And, yes, God bless even the mean girls.”

Quite a few fans thought this to be implying that the mean girl in question was Daniela. They seemed to think that this was Yoonchae’s way of subtly calling out the Latina for her behaviour in the past.

No matter what fans think, it is highly likely that Yoonchae was following the blocking set by choreographers or pre-decided by the members. When performances have a set time-slot as with Lollapalooza, even simple walks needed to be planned to avoid wastage of time or energy. Also, it is highly likely that the Korean member was implying that someone seemingly mean on camera might be different off it. She also pointed to the audience while saying this line the second time, so there might have been a different meaning to the lyric.
