Since the last few days, the Jantar Mantar protest has grabbed all the headlines, where the youth from all over India are demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over alleged irregularities in NEET examinations. Although many celebrities have voiced their opinions on the same, there are a few names, including Katrina Kaif, who haven’t yet shared anything about it on their social media. Keeping this in mind, one of her fan pages’ admins expressed disappointment and announced that they were shutting down the page!
What Did Katrina Kaif’s Fan Page Admin Say?
Amid the ongoing protest in Jantar Mantar, Katrina Kaif’s fan page, Katholic_fans, which has around 70 thousand followers, reportedly announced that they were shutting it down. Revealing that they have been her fans since childhood, they expressed that she didn’t say a word for Indians and students, who love her a lot. They stated that she didn’t have a “spine” to speak against the government and that she “betrayed” them even after they supported her at her lowest. The admin further revealed that they were unfollowing her and closing the fan page, adding that she didn’t “deserve” it.
After this announcement was rolled out, many shared their mixed reactions. A section of people defended the actress not speaking out. A fan reportedly stated that the actress can choose what she wants to support and that if the fan can’t support her for what she chooses to support, they were never true fans. They further asked the admin to stop “blackmailing” people over who they support, adding that Katrina is an adult and she is aware of what’s right and wrong.

Although there are a few celebrities, including Katina Kaid and more, who haven’t said anything about the Jantar Mantar protest, there are other popular names, including Sonakshi Sinha, Sahiba Bali, Diljit Dosanjh, Vir Das, Abhay Deol and more, who have openly supported the movement on their respective social media places. Apart from them, celebrities like Prakash Raj, Shabana Azmi, and more have joined the protest physically on the ground.
