Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan received a lot of praise for his recently released film Chandu Champion. After a successful decade in the industry, the actor spoke about his experiences being an outsider. He explained that it is difficult to obtain recognition and opportunity when you are not in the sector. He said that you have to learn everything from the start and fight to be treated equally.
Kartik Aaryan On Being An Outsider In Bollywood
In his recent interview with GQ India, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star talked about maintaining his mental health as an outsider in the industry. He acknowledged the difficulties in obtaining opportunities and exposure, pointing out that a lack of industry connections can be detrimental. Kartik Aaryan admitted that he frequently questioned how different his career would have been if he had the same opportunities as those who had a foot in the door. He also mentioned that you have to fight to be treated equally and that it takes a toll on your mental health.
He said that it took him a long time and inner work to figure out that being an outsider isn’t a weakness and that everything he has done is a product of his hard work. Kabir Khan, director of Chandu Champion pointed out that 83 and Chandu Champion have both had numerous viewings on OTT platforms, demonstrating their enduring popularity. He clarified that the fact that people watch a movie again and again shows how durable its legacy is.

Chandu Champion was Kartik Aaryan’s most recent film. The next film starring him is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. In significant parts in the horror comedy-drama are Vineeth, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Naurang Yadav, Triptii Dimri, and Sanjay Mishra. The film, which will be directed by Anees Bazmee, is slated to hit theatres on November 1st of this year.
