The Sunjay Kapur will controversy is getting complicated with each passing day. Earlier, Karisma Kapoor’s kids had filed a case against their father’s third wife, Priya Sachdev, to demand a fair share in the estate. Reportedly, they have filed another case claiming that the will presented by Priya was false. Read on to know more about it.
Sunjay Kapur’s Legal Battle
A new legal battle has begun in the Sunjay Kapur’s will case. According to reports, Karisma Kapoor’s kids Kiaan and Samaira have filed a new case in Delhi High Court claiming that the will given by Priya Sachdev was not the original one. As per a Hindustan Times report, the plea was heard by the Joint Registrar on November 17, and he has issued notices to Priya Sachdev and Shradha Suri Marwah (executor of the will) to submit their response to the claims within 3 weeks.
In the case, the plaintiffs have claimed that the will was allegedly forged in order to keep the kids our of their later father, Sunjay Kapur’s estate. However, the counsel representing Priya Sachdev has dismissed these claims as baseless. The next hearing is going to happen on December 16.

Reportedly, in this fresh plea, the kids have challenged the authenticity of Sunjay Kapur’s signature in the will, and have asked for a thorough inspection of the original of the alleged will.
For the unversed, Sunjay Kapur passed away in London due to a cardiac arrest. Reportedly, he swallowed a bee while play polo, which led to a sudden allergic reaction. Recently Priya Kapur had penned a note on Sunjay Kapur’s birthday in which she remembered his kindness, dedication and all the warmth he had for his family.
