Priya Kapur Refutes Claims About Samaira Kapoor’s Unpaid College Fees

Karisma Kapoor’s family have been embroiled in a messy legal battle following the death of her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur. The actress’s legal team claimed that her daughter Samaira’s college fees had not been paid, as the managers of her late husband’s estate did not clear the payments. Priya Kapur Shuts Down Claims Of Unpaid Fees For Samira Kapoor’s College Semester
On Friday, the Delhi High Court continued to hear Sunjay Kapur’s children’s plea against their stepmother, Priya Kapur. Shutting down the claims of Samira’s fees not being paid, Priya’s lawyers presented receipts for the fee payment. The receipts indicated that the fees of 95 lakh rupees had already been paid, and the next instalment was due in December.
Last week, Karisma Kapoor’s lawyer had claimed that Samaira’s college fees had not been paid for 2 months. She is currently studying in the USA, and Sunjay Estate bears the cost of her education. Priya Kapur’s legal team, however, countered the claims and called them a publicity stunt. The judge, however, reprimanded both parties and said that he did not want the case to turn into a melodrama.
Industrialist Sunjay Kapur passed away in June of this year in London while playing a piolo game. The actor has two children with his ex-wife, Karisma Kapoor, Samaira and Kiaan. Kapoor has sued Sunjay’s widow, Priya Kapur, for allegedly forging his will and excluding her family from it.

Pruya’s lawyers have challenged this claim, saying that there is nothing suspicious about a husband giving everything in his assets to his wife. Rajiv Nayyar, the advocate representing Priya Kapur, said that “It is a healthy tradition which perhaps has been maintained.”
