The ongoing controversy and legal battle around Sunjay Kapur’s will after his death has been getting a lot of media attention. His ex-wife, actor Karisma Kapoor’s kids have also filed a case in the matter to fight for their share in the estate. In the latest updates, their lawyer has claimed that there are many faults in Sunjay Kapur’s will, and that it could also be a ‘forged’ one. New Updates In Sunjay Kapur’s Will Case
There has been a lot of back and forth in the Sunjay Kapur’s will case, with many of his family members fighting their case. Karisma Kapoor’s lawyer Senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani is fighting the case for her kids, and in the latest updates on the matter, he had pointed out some flaws in Sunjay Kapur’s will. As per a Hindustan Times report, he has claimed in the Delhi High Court that the will was ‘forged’ and also had many mistakes. He further added that this could have been done to keep Karisma’s kids away from their share in the estate.
He further pointed out some mistakes like the wrong address of his daughter in the will, and his son’s name mispelled in many places, as per the report. The senior advocate questioned the mistakes and stated that it was hard to believe Sunjay Kapur made such mistakes after having close relationship with his kids. Many details about the jewellery and estate were also not provided in the will, as per the advocate.
They have also claimed that Priya Sachdev could be responsible for the forged will.
