The legal battle of late Sunjay Kapur’s estate worth 30,000 crore is getting a uglier. In 2025, the court had asked Priya Kapur to share a list of all the assets owned by her husband. However, Karisma Kapoor’s kids have raised several doubts over the list, and have questioned about the many missing items from the list that their father allegedly owned. They submitted a rejoinder in the court on December 31, as per the reports. Read on.
Karisma Kapoor’s Kids Raise Questions
As per an NDTV report, Karisma Kapoor’s kids have submitted a rejoinder in the court alleging about the many missing things from the list of assets given by Sunjay Kapur’s wife Priya Kapur. In this, they claimed that many important assets owned by their late father were never mentioned in the list. This includes expensive horses used to play polo, the Rolex luxury and Audemars Piguet watches, many expensive artwork. The kids Samaira and Kiaan have demanded Priya Kapur to release a list of all the assets owned by their father. As per the report, many immovable assets are also missing from the list, as mentioned by Karisma’s kids. They have also demanded Priya Kapur to reveal all the assets of Sunjay Kapur on an oath. They also pointed out the assets disclosed by Rani Kapur did not match the one by Priya.
On the other hand, Priya Kapur has reportedly filed a defamation case against Sunjay Kapur’s sister Mandhira Kapur for allegedly spread lies about her with intentions to damage her reputation. However, Mandhira Kapur has dismissed this claims and stood firm on her statements saying she had not lied about anything.
