After Sunjay Kapur’s sudden demise, a debate about shares in his massive empire has become the talk of the town. And in recent updates, his ex-wife Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, have moved to the Delhi HC, saying that their stepmother has ‘forged’ the will. And to this plea, Priya Sachdev Kapur’s lawyer has said that the Bollywood actress was nowhere to be seen fifteen years after their divorce. Read to know more about it here!

The court said that written statements should be filed within 2 weeks, followed by a rejoinder within a week thereafter. The court also told Priya Sachdev Kapur to submit a complete list of all her movable and immovable assets. Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor’s two children moved to the Delhi HC seeking a share of their father, Sunjay’s, assets in his Rs 30,000 crore estate. The duo was married for 13 years, from 2003 to 2016, and have a son and a daughter together.
Samaira and Kiaan were represented by their mother; they argued before the court that they were wrongfully excluded from the will by Priya Sachdev Kapur. This dispute was followed by their father’s sudden death in the United Kingdom after reportedly eating a bee. The defendants in the lawsuit are Priya Kapur, her juvenile son, his mother Rani Kapur, and the purported executor of the will, Shradha Suri Marwah. Everyone is behind a will that dates back to March 21, 2025, which allegedly has the businessman’s entire personal estate to his third wife, Priya.

The petition also claimed that their stepmother conspired with two associates- Dinesh Agarwal and Nitin Sharma, to hide the will for than seven weeks before presenting it at a family meeting on July 30, 2025.
