Like recently, Indians felt proud when the film RRR won the Oscars for Naatu Naatu, and well, over the years many films have been nominated or screened at International Film Festivals. Now, it is Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s chance to get this opportunity at the Busan Film Festival. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions broke the news on August 5 and it is a huge milestone for the Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer film.

Karan Johar finally returned to his director’s chair with his ambitious project film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film was headlined by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, along with some veteran actors like Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan. The film was hailed by the Indian audience and the best family entertainer of the year. The film was a huge hit at the box office and Karan Johar’s directorial went on to win hearts everywhere. Now, the film is all set to see a new milestone as it has been selected in the Open Cinema Section at the Busan International Film Festival. The news about it was revealed on the Instagram page of Dharma Production, the banner under which Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was produced.

The 25th Busan International Film Festival will happen between October 4-13, 2023, and we hope that the film wins an award in the category.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaan promoted some very progressive ideas and the film had a theatrical release on July 28.
