In the last few days, the director and actors have revealed many things about the film and given us some interesting trivia too! Today, Karan Johar released the beautiful song Kudmayi, which was the wedding sequence between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s characters. The eye-soothing visuals of this song are just so heartwarming but KJo also revealed how Alia Bhatt got married twice in the same week. Any guesses?

During the song launch event of Kudmayi, Karan Johar revealed some interesting details about the shooting days. Unfortunately, because of the length of this song, it was played at the end of the film with the credits, however, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director was finally happy to release it to the public. While making the announcement, Karan Johar revealed that Alia Bhatt had to marry twice that same week, one real and the other reel. KJo added that just after four days of Alia Bhatt’s wedding with Ranbir Kapoor, the song Kudmayi was shot in Jaisalmer. Her on-screen wedding with Ranveer Singh happened in the same week when she got married. Also, the interesting part here was that the mehendi she donned in Kudmayi was actually from her real wedding, just a bit darkened revealed Karan Johar.

The Kudmayi song is sung by Sachet Tandon and Pritam has composed the melody. The beautiful lyrics describing the setting of a girl getting married are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The whole golden consumes and set in the song looks so royal and rich. Alia Bhatt definitely looks like a Queen in the bridal avatar.
