Karan Johar Reacts To Trolls On Nadaaniyan Ft Ibrahim Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Says Violent Words Should Be Condemned!

Recently, Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan made his acting debut opposite Khushi Kapoor in Nadaaniyan. The film was backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. However, it received mixed reactions from the critics but social media users badly trolled the lead actors for their acting skills. During a recent event, Karan Johar reacted to the trolls and expressed honest thoughts. Read on for more.

What Did Karan Johar?

During a media interaction, Karan Johar shared his thoughts on the trolls targeting Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Karan Johar mentioned the famous saying, “Logon ka kaam hai kehna...” (People will say what they want to) and seemed to be unbothered by them. However, he went on to talk about how he is deeply affected when critics go on to use violent words in their reviews of any film.

Karan Johar expressed his respect for the opinions that critics put out after any film’s release, however, he went on to add that he does not appreciate some using harsh and violent words. Backing his response with an example, Karan Johar said that some critics had written that they wanted to kick a film like Nadaaniyan. He firmly believed that when critics use such words in their reviews, it’s not a reflection of the film but themselves. Karan Johar also stated that one should remember that the young kids making their debut are someone’s son or daughter and the parents may get affected by these things too.

Karan Johar called out such words as kicking and said it was violence through words and one should be condemned for it.
