What Did Karan Johar Say?
Karan Johar also already showered words of praise on the film, the cast, and their performances, and now he has again spoken on the film at a recent event. KJo was in attendance at the launch of Anupama Chopra’s book Dining With The Stars where he shared his thoughts on Aditya Dhar’s directorial skills. Karan Johar said that he started his year with the amazing Mohit Suri film Saiyaara and ended with Dhurandhar. KJo said that he was blown away by the Aditya Dhar film and wondered if his craft was limited. He praised the use of background score in the film, and how the director was not trying to show off his craft yet presenting the story in an effortless manner. Furthermore, he also hailed how beautifully the film was shot and revealed that it had made him question his abilities as a filmmaker too. As per KJo, he liked to look at things from positive lens. He also praised Lokah and how superb that was.

For the unversed, Dhurandhar released in theatres on December 5. It stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun. It will also have a second part which will release in 2026.
