On Friday, September 12, Karan Johar took to his Instagram stories and shared a picture of Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. The picture dates back to their debut film, Student Of The Year. Sharing this, Johar drew a comparison between his film and The Summer I Turned Pretty. He wrote, “Team Conrad or Team Jeremiah? It’s Team Rohan or Team Abhimanyu! #WeWereHereFirst #SummerShanayaTurnedPretty.”
For the unversed, while the American TV show features two brothers- Jeremiah and Conrad falling in love with Belly, the film showed two best friends falling in love with Shanaya.
