Manish Malhotra’s mother’s cremation ceremony was scheduled on March 20 at Santacruz, Mumbai. As per a report by Hindustan Times, celebrities, including Karan Johar, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Khushi Kapoor, Orry, Urmila Matonkar, Divyendu Sharma, Karan Tacker, Sophie Choudry, David Dhawan, Saiyami Kher, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rohit Dhawan, Vijay Verma, Ronit Roy, Freddy Daruwala, and more, were present at the said locations.

Manish Malhotra took to his Instagram and shared a picture of his mother and penned, “love and miss you forever.” Before the cremation ceremony in Santacruz, Mumbai, the designer’s team had reportedly shared a statement mentioning that, with gratitude for a life beautifully lived, they share the peaceful passing of their beloved mother, Mrs Sudarshan Malhotra, at the age of 94. The statement further read that having been blessed with a long and fulfilling journey, their mother leaves behind cherished memories, generations of love, and a legacy that will continue to guide them, adding that the cremation ceremony will be held on 20th March 2026, at 10 am.
