Karan Johar Set To Direct His First Action Film, Makes The Announcement On His 50th Birthday
Karan Johar, the producer, and director turns 50 today. His work has undoubtedly left an impression on the industry. The director has a surprise announcement for his fans as he celebrates his 50th birthday, with a very heartwarming note. On his 50th birthday, Karan took to his social media handle to share a return gift to his fans and followers, which was something completely new and exciting! He announced his first action film!

Karan Johar shared a post on Instagram to express his feelings on his 50th birthday. He calls it a note of reflection which he indeed is very excited about. Karan Johar writes that many would call 50, a mid-life crisis, however, he does not think so. According to the filmmaker, it is “living life without any apologies” and he proudly calls it to be so.
Okay the announcement part, Karan firstly went on to express his love for cinema and filmmaking. He says that he is really passionate about it. Nevertheless, Karan has realised that he does take long gaps between his directorial projects. But then he quickly goes on to announce his next project which will be an action movie. Also to let you know, this will be Karan Johar’s first directorial debut in the action genre. He further mentions that the shoot for his action film will commence in April 2023. Also asked for well-wishes and blessings from his fans and followers.
Karan in the note also mentions being grateful to have worked in the industry for 27 years. He also says that the public praise and trolls have added to his “learning curve” and “self-growth”

Karan Johar did not forget to promote his other movies as well in the note. He added that Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will be released on February 10, 2023, and subtly ended with the promotion of Jugg Jug Jeeyo.
