Their relationship turned sour ever since the actress featured on the filmmaker’s show Koffee With Karan and called him “the flagbearer of nepotism” among other things. The queen of controversies often takes to social media to attack KJo. I mean, don’t we all remember Kangana’s scathing attack on Karan Johar’s directorial comeback film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt? At a recent event, Karan Johar expressed excitement to watch Kangana’s upcoming film Emergency and now the actress has responded. Looks like she’s not very happy about KJo’s remarks.
Kangana Ranaut Reacts To Karan Johar’s Statement On Emergency
In a conversation with Indian Express, Karan Johar expressed that he’s eager to watch Kangana Ranaut starrer Emergency. Reacting to his statement, Kangana took to X (earlier Twitter) and pointedly said that the last time the filmmaker said he was excited for Manikarnika, it led to the worst smear campaign of her being unleashed on her on the weekend the film was released. She went on the claim that almost all of the leading actors in the film were paid to sabotage the film and make accusations against her which resulted in the most successful weekend of her life being turned into a nightmare. She mocked the filmmaker and said that she’s scared now that he’s excited again.

Erm, all hopes of reconciliation between the actress and filmmaker are dead now that Kangana has expressed her take on the matter. Looks like Kangana Ranaut is not ready to bury the hatchet just yet and from the looks of it, it won’t be happening anytime soon either.
