Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher Starrer Emergency Has A New Release Date
Kangana Ranaut’s directorial Emergency has faced a lot of controversies and criticism from some Sikh groups. The film is based on India’s first female prime minister Indira Gandhi, who declared a 21-month emergency from 1975 to 1977. Due to the objections, the Central Board of Film Certification had to take back its approval, which delayed the film’s original release date of September 5. However, after months the film has a new release date and fans can’t control their excitement. Kangana Ranaut took to her social media handle and shared the poster of the film and wrote a long caption. She wrote, “17th January 2025 – The epic saga of the nation’s most powerful woman and the moment that altered India’s destiny. #Emergency – Unveils Only in cinemas!
