If there’s any person who leaves no crumbs while being blunt about her experiences, it’s definitely Kangana Ranaut. After A.R Rahman went viral online for calling Chhaava “divisive.” Kangana took to her social media and slammed him, claiming that he refused to meet her when she wanted narrate Emergency to him. Furthermore, she also called out designer and entrepreneur Masaba Gupta for allegedly refusing to associate her brand with the actress and politician.
What Did Kangana Say About A.R. Rahman and Masaba Gupta
Kangana Ranaut shared multiple stories on Instagram revealing her alleged experiences with A.R. Rahman and Masaba Gupta. In one of the stories, the Queen star shared facing a lot of prejudice and partiality in the film industry because of her personal choice to support a certain political party. She called him prejudiced and hateful, claiming she wanted to narrate her directorial project Emergency but he refused to meet with her as he didn’t want to be a part of a “propaganda film.” She further mentioned that critics and people from the opposition party praise her directorial project.
In the next story, the Tanu Weds Manu star recalled an instance where she wore a saree from Masaba Gupta’s label while visiting the Ram Janmaboomi. But Masaba allegedly told her stylist that Kangana cannot visit the said place wearing her brand’s saree. The actress stated that she had already left for Ayodhya and it was not possible to change. She expressed feeling humiliated and degraded, and she quietly shed tears in her car. The actress added that later her stylist was told not to mention the designer or her brand’s name online.

What Else Did She Say?
Kangana Ranaut did not stop here. She added a picture to her story, capturing her performance at Masaba Gupta’s wedding. The actress revealed that she did not even dance at her own sister’s wedding but performed at the designer’s big day. Further, she also shared a selfie with Masaba and penned that “leftists are blinded by their hate and prejudice” and asked younge generation to stay cautious of them. For the unversed, Masaba Gupta tied the knot with Madhu Mantena in 2015 and ended her marriage in 2019. She got married to actor Satyadeep Mishra in 2023 and welcomed a daughter in 2025.
As of now, neither A. R Rahman nor Masaba Gupta has reacted to the allegations.
