Sometimes actors choose not to criticise or judge other actors during interviews, but still, make it quite obvious to the public. A similar kind of approach was taken by the famous TV actress Kamya Panjabi, who seems to have taken a dig at Sonakshi Sinha’s performance in her OTT debut web series Dahaad. Kamya Panjabi carefully chose her words to prove that casting directors sign up big actors for OTT projects who do not even know how to act!
Kamya Panjabi is a household name and has appeared in many television daily soaps. In fact, during a recent interview, the actress also put forth her firm opinion on never trading her career in TV for OTT. The actress moreover noted that she just saw a web series with a well-liked female lead and the daughter of a famous veteran actor who made her debut on OTT. Kamya Panjabi criticised the actress’s acting skills and told that she could not even watch the first episode of the show because of it.
Furthermore, the TV actress also bashed casting directors and advised them to change their process of selecting actors for projects on OTT. She believed that the perspective about taking big stars without acting skills for OTT projects to work should change in current times. As per the interview with Hindustan Times, Kamya Punjabi also opined that the directors chose big names only to sell their product instead of giving weightage to the acting skills too.

Well, although we still feel that OTT has a lot better content to watch than any other streaming platform right now.
