A few days back, actor Kajol’s statement on her show did not sit well with the general public. The star compared an actor’s working life to that of people who do regular 9 to 5 jobs, and firmly opined that the former’s work was difficult than the regular job. Many people on social media bashed her for being ignorant, and Kajol has now reacted to this criticism. She has elaborated on the thought and why she continues to be firm on her statement. Read on.
Kajol On Actors’ Difficult Life!
Kajol has finally addressed the controversy that happened around her statement on the show Too Much, which she co-hosts with Twinkle Khanna. In the episode graced by Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, Kajol had opined that the actors have a more demanding job than the regular 9-5 people. She was bashed on social media for this opinion, and the actor has finally opened up about it. During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the actor said that an actor’s job involved huge pressure, as they sometimes shoot for 35-40 days at a stretch. Kajol further added that actors also have the burden to look fit and eat healthy.
Furthermore, Kajol opined that the 9-5 job people also get the time to relax and have tea breaks in between their working hours, but the actors could not do that. She further added that actors are constantly watched, how they walk sit, talk, and therefore they always had to stay on alert.
On the work front, she was most recently seen in a horror film Maa.
