It only takes a few minutes for a K-pop idol’s actions to create a huge debate online. It has happened again, this time with ZEROBASEONE’s Park Gunwook. Video clips of his “bad attitude” are making rounds across social media platforms and getting everyone talking. ZEROBASEONE just made a comeback and held many fan meetings. In one event, they held a lucky draw for extra Polaroid photos. Each member picked a number and read it out loud. When Park Gunwook’s turn came, he said the number was ten.

But fans who looked at the video again saw something different. The paper was a bit see-through. When they zoomed in, some fans thought the real number was six with a line under it, not ten. Many people accused him of changing the number to help one particular fan. This made a lot of fans angry.
After the backlash grew, the K-pop idol wrote an apology message to his fans. He said he should have been more careful and thoughtful at the fan event. He admitted that his actions caused confusion and hurt many people. He apologised for letting down the fans who supported him and the group. He also said sorry to his ZEROBASEONE members and the staff. He promised to think hard about his behaviour and improve.

Not just this; further, other videos also came out showing what fans call a ‘bad attitude’. In March, Gunwook started working as an MC for M!Countdown with two other idols. In a recent viral video, he was seen throwing something from his hand onto the floor and kicking it. Another clip showed NCT WISH leaving the stage. While the other MCs bowed politely, Gunwook turned away.
These moments have made many fans very upset and disappointed.
