As per reports, an individual tried to get Soobin deported. Amid recent ICE raids targeting Korean workers, the individual sent a tip to ICE and made false claims that the TXT leader was in the U.S. illegally. It seems like the netizens tried to create a hate train against TXT. Instead, it caused a huge backlash, with fans calling it a disgusting act that crossed a line.

Many fans expressed their anger online. They felt the person who reported Soobin took a petty fan rivalry too far. One fan said the act was disgusting and asked people to stop dragging fan wars into dangerous real-world situations.
Another user added that families are being torn apart while some use these events for fan wars.
For the unversed, this massive raid happened at a Hyundai factory in Georgia. ICE targeted the site after a tip about illegal work practices. Over 300 South Korean workers, many with valid work visas, were detained.
Reports later showed ICE broke rules by detaining people, including legal residents and even U.S. citizens, without proper checks or warrants.

Hence, fans were furious that someone would exploit a serious issue like immigration raids to target a K-pop idol. Adding a false ICE report about Soobin only made things worse.
