Recently, a video from a past fansign event featuring TWICE member Momo spread widely online for the wrong reasons. In the clip, the K-pop idol happily talked to a fan while holding her small pet dog Boo. Momo appears cheerful and friendly at first. However, her expression turns serious when she sees the fan touching the information tag on Boo’s collar. Such tags often contain private details like the owner’s phone number or home address. Many people felt this crossed a line and raised questions about fans’ behaviour around idols.
The incident sparked heated talks about fan etiquette in the K-pop world. Online users expressed worries that some actions could invade privacy, even if done without any bad intention. The situation created a wave of criticism toward the person involved. Yet, the story took a new turn when the fan shared the complete video to explain what really happened.
In the full version, they bend down to pick up a gift that had fallen on the ground, intending to give it to another TWICE member, Dahyun. It was not an attempt to check private details on the dog’s tag. Many fans appreciated the clarification, as it cleared up the misunderstanding and stopped rumours from spreading further.
