On December 27, Stray Kids touched down at Gimpo Airport following their schedule in Japan. The members were extremely busy the entire week and hoped to return peacefully. However, their arrival turned chaotic and intense. A viral video showed fans and others being dangerously close to them. As per reports, Hyunjin was nearly going to fall down while Seungmin was shoved fiercely by fans. Amid this, the security team fell short and some reporters stepped in to protect the members. This alarming scene left online fans furious and deeply concerned for the group’s safety.

Many criticised the lack of respect shown to the idols and pointed at how invasive and risky it is to invade personal space like that. Others questioned why stronger security measures aren’t in place, especially at busy airports. Hence, fans demanded for JYP Entertainment and airport authorities to increase protection and prevent these mob scenes. They said that idols deserve to feel safe and secure.
