Carats Raise Eyebrows After SEVENTEEN’s Woozi Was Asked For A Favour By Officer In Military
Reports claim that shortly after Woozi enlisted in September 2025, a non-commissioned officer at the training centre approached him. The officer had no link with Woozi and asked for help in finding a singer to perform at his upcoming wedding. As a global star, he has many connections in the music world and hence reached out to a famous ballad singer he knew. That singer ended up performing at the event the next month and did so for free. This information left many people divided.
Following which, officials looked into the matter and explained that the request was not an order. They said that Woozi chose to help on his own, without any pressure. After checking everything, they found no breaking of rules or wrongdoing.

Still, not everyone agrees with it. Many point out that the military has a very strict order and in such a structured place, a new trainee might feel unable to say no to a superior, even if the ask is personal and casual. They pointed at past cases and how hard it can be to turn down requests from higher-ups due to the setup. In their words, one fan said, “Hellooooo?! Of course he can’t say no to his seniorrrr. This is not doneee!” Another fan said, “What just happened? Why is he taking advantage of his connections? This is totally wrong. Unacceptable and should not happen again! Please look into it.”
