Video Of SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi Dancing With Woman Tied To Chair Goes Viral, Fans In Complete Shock!

X (formerly Twitter) is full of strong opinions, and heated debates take place every day. Once again, the K-pop community is massively divided after an old video of SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi dancing while a woman appears tied up has resurfaced online. The clip has sparked massive controversy and arguments across social media platforms. Fans and netizens are clashing over its meaning, context, and whether it was problematic. Read on to know more about it.

SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi is in the middle of a new controversy because of an old video. The clip is from 2016 and shows him doing a solo performance of his song ‘Can’t Go Anywhere’ at a concert. During the performance, a woman sits tied to a chair while Hoshi dances around her.

The song tells a story about an abusive relationship. The lyrics describe a controlling situation where one person claims ownership over another, even if the feelings are not mutual. The stage setup matched this dark theme by showing the woman bound, while Hoshi moved around her in a dramatic way.

The trouble began again when the video resurfaced online. People noticed that in some shows, the woman was Yehana from the group PRISTIN. At that time, she was only 16 years old. Hoshi was about 20. Many fans and others felt this was wrong because of the age gap and the way the performance looked. They said it seemed uncomfortable or not right.

On the other side, Hoshi’s fans explained it was only a show. Everything was planned and practised many times. The staff watched over it, and both people agreed to do it. They said the tied part and the dancing were just acting to tell the song’s story about abuse. It was like a scene in a movie or play, not real life. The goal was to show something bad and not to support or promote it. What are your thoughts?
