Some people thought Red Velvet treated the other BLACKPINK members nicely but kept a distance from Lisa. One fan pointed at Joy and said she looked cold toward Lisa during an old event. These thoughts went viral quickly on X and everyone started discussing it.

Many fans jumped in to defend Red Velvet. They shared old videos showing the members’ sweet interactions with Lisa. Fans also added that Red Velvet was one of the first girl groups to greet BLACKPINK warmly.

Earlier, another claim surfaced online that Jisoo called Lisa “monkey” in a rude way because of her Southeast Asian looks or skin colour. This made some fans sad and angry. But others clarified the real story. They said Lisa often used monkey emojis herself in fun ways, and the comment had nothing to do with being mean about her background.

Still, the discussion became intense but many called the racism claims silly and not true.

On the other hand, BLACKPINK is preparing for a major comeback. Their third mini-album, named Deadline, will release on February 27, 2026. This is their first full group project since Born Pink in 2022. The album has five songs. One track, JUMP, came out earlier and received lots of love. The main title song is GO, followed by Me and My, Champion, and Fxxxboy. After years of solo work, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are reuniting as a group.
