The list for the most-streamed K-pop boy groups on YouTube Music U.S. in 2025 is here, and this time the global phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters’ Saja Boys takes the top rank instead of BTS, SEVENTEEN, STRAY KIDS, or ATEEZ. According to reports, Saja Boys from the popular animated film KPop Demon Hunters gained 397 million streams this year. The second position is held by 4th gen group Stray Kids with 325 million streams and in the third position is BTS with 238 million streams. ENHYPEN landed in fourth with 110 million, while ATEEZ landed in fifth with 91.2 million. These numbers come from YouTube Music US’s yearly wrap-up list and have everyone talking.

Some are shocked, as they beat OG K-pop groups, whereas others stated that it makes sense because songs like ‘Soda Pop’ and ‘Your Idol’ went viral. From children to adults, Soda pop’s choreography made everyone dance right away. On the other hand, Your Idol’s lyrics and beats kept everyone hooked. Both songs climbed high on global music charts and achieved higher spots in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100. ‘Your Idol’ also hit no. 1 on US Spotify and created a historic record.

Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, KPop Demon Hunters gained 266 million views and over 443 million watch hours and became the platform’s biggest hit ever in 2025. And now, fans are waiting for the next chapter. As per Variety and Deadline, KPop Demon Hunters’ sequel is set to drop in 2029 from Sony Animation and Netflix. Moreover, the soundtrack for the animated film has earned five Grammy nominations.
