Netizens’ Harsh Comments On NMIXX Haewons’s Body Are Totally Unacceptable!
The culture of body-shaming needs to stop.
Female K-pop idols face constant judgement about their bodies, with people posting thoughtless comments online. NMIXX’s Haewon recently became a target on the forum Nate Pann, where users criticised her proportions. This kind of behaviour is infuriating. Why do people feel it’s okay to pick apart someone’s appearance? Read on to know more.
NMIXX’s Haewon Body-Shamed By Cruel Netizens
As per Koreaboo, one user posted that Haewon’s head seemed larger compared to her body. Because of her height, some people noted that her legs looked short next to other NMIXX members. Not just this, someone even shared an image of Haewon and Sullyoon side by side and wrote negative comments. They were all praises of Sullyoon but criticised Haewon.

This is not done. Posting such comparisons on the internet or in real life is cruel and thoughtless. These comments can hurt anyone and their mental health. It’s important to understand that Idols are humans too and such discussion leaves scars.
Therefore, the culture of body-shaming needs to stop. Haewon, like all idols, works hard to perform and entertain her fans. Criticising her appearance is extremely rude. It also takes away the attention from her hard work and talent. People who hide behind screens forget the impact of their words. They need to learn how to value and respect them. So, free them from unnecessary criticism and hate.

On the work front, NMIXX made waves online with their first full-length album, Blue Valentine. It was released on October 13, 2025 and the title track is ranking on top of major Korean music charts. It is also gaining immense love and attention from fans and critics. So, why don’t we talk about that instead? This needs recognition and as always bodyshaming is not at all cool.
