Recently, news about ADOR terminating NewJeans’ Danielle’s exclusive contract came out and left fans shocked. As reported by allKpop, fans are sending many complaint letters to South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. They are asking the government to step in and stop the unfair actions against the Korean-Australian singer. Not just them, even International fans are also posting messages online and tagging the President’s account.

For the unversed, the entire drama started over a year ago. It began after former CEO Min Hee-jin left amid a big conflict with the parent company, i.e., HYBE. Later, the five members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, claimed that their contracts were no longer valid and tried to work independently.
However, ADOR fought back in court, and in October 2025, the judge ruled that the members’ contracts were valid until 2029. After that, Haerin and Hyein quickly agreed to return to the label. Soon, the other three members said that they would come back too. But new reports reveal something else. It has been confirmed that Hanni will go back to the label and Minji is in talks. On the other hand, ADOR could no longer work with Danielle due to alleged breaches like unauthorised activities and harm to the company’s reputation.

This sudden change has many fans disappointed. Bunnies feel ADOR is trying to divide the group on purpose, even though all members wanted to stay together. They say, “NewJeans will always be five.”
