Furthermore, during Jennie’s appearance at the Chicken Shop Date, she was asked about the best compliment she could ever give someone. The ‘Seoul City’ singer stated that she would simply say she likes them, because she does not like many people. The honesty surprised some people who called it “arrogant”, while others praised her for being real.
An X (Formerly Twitter) user shared a video of Lisa walking on the street when she was asked by a content creator about “what she does for a living”. Instead of answering, the ‘Rockstar’ singer just smiled, repeated the question softly and kept walking. Many people felt her reaction looked cold. But fans stated that such random street interviews can be bothersome or that she must be busy.

These two videos spread like wildfire online and many netizens slammed their behaviour. They called the two K-pop stars selfish and out of touch. One user wrote, “Never seen a group with such a dislikable personality.” Another user wrote, “Most unlikeable kpop group ever, and people wonder why I hate them.” On the other hand, many fans jumped to defence. They didn’t understand why the members were being criticised for being real.
