There have been several times when SM Entertainment’s K-pop idols have shared their views on how the company is run. Now, another artist has surprised everyone by talking about problems inside the agency. Right after the SMTOWN concert in Bangkok, NCT’s Kun went live on social media. He discussed different things and one of them was about the heavy workload on the content editing team. Read on to know more!
Kun explained that the team editing NCT’s videos and content now has only one person left. Another staff member had quit, so all the work fell on this single editor. He felt sorry for the person because there was so much footage to handle. Kun knows editing takes a lot of time and effort, and he said it can be really hard and tiring.
He mentioned that he often tells the company they should hire more people for the team. Kun asked why they don’t add staff when it’s clear one person can’t manage everything. He expressed worries that the remaining editor would get too tired and might not be able to keep working well. If things stay this way, the person could burn out completely. Kun’s concern showed he cares about the staff who work behind the scenes.
