Just recently, a photo of popular K-pop group NCT’s Jungwoo surfaced online and it quickly went viral. But, surprisingly, fans noticed something in the photo which left them off guard. NCT Jungwoo’s Military Pic Has Everyone Surprised
In the picture we can see Jungwoo with a bright smile and this look made fans relieved. They got to know that he is adjusting well to military life. It was also revealed that he had been chosen as a Company Commander Trainee. Fans felt proud, as this special role is given to trustworthy soldiers. However, what caused massive buzz was his expression. Many people online could not believe how happy he looked, since most of the idols appear serious or stern in pictures. Hence, this positive energy stood out and made fans, aka NCTzens, happy.

In South Korea, all healthy men, including K-pop stars, must complete mandatory military service, which lasts for about 18 months. For idols it is an important moment in their life as they take a break from performing and releasing music to serve their country.
For those of you who don’t know, Jungwoo enlisted together with his groupmate Doyoung on December 8, 2025. Both are members of the huge and talented NCT family and they are expected to finish their service and return on June 7, 2027. Until then, fans are going to send love and encouragement.
