Min Hee-jin Claims HYBE Pushed ILLIT’s Sales To Shatter NewJeans’ THIS Record

As per reports, Min Hee-jin pointed fingers at HYBE for boosting sales of the girl group ILLIT. She said the company did this to beat the sales records set by NewJeans. Min Hee-jin added that HYBE often does this when their artists struggle to reach big goals on their own.

She said that even small pushes, like sending extra copies to stores, can change the charts. For example, the former ADOR ceo claimed that HYBE stocked up on albums right before the end of the first week to grab the top spot from NewJeans. With this method, they can grab the no. 1 spot unfairly. After this information surfaced on the internet, it created a stir among fans.

The controversy started in 2023 when HYBE said Min Hee-jin tried to take over ADOR and steal NewJeans. They removed her as CEO after finding proof of betrayal.
