A man created s*xual pictures of members Haerin, Hanni, and Minji and shared them, and now he has been indicted, but the punishment he received left fans and the public boiling with anger. Man Who Edited Explicit Photos Of NewJeans Members Indicted
According to Korean media outlets, a 21-year-old man was caught running a telegram chatroom at his home. In the group, many people saw and shared the fake images he made. The man also known as “A” created photos of Haerin, Hanni, and Minji naked or taking part in s*xual acts. The court charged him with several serious crimes, including breaking the law that protects children and youth from s*xual abuse.
However, this week, the Daegu District Court surprised many people. Instead of prison time, the man only has to pay a fine of 15 million won and on top of that, he must attend forty hours of classes about s*xual violence. That is all.
In response, many online users exploded with anger. They said that the punishment is extremely light. Netizens also stated that creating and spreading fake s*xual images destroys lives. Hence, they demanded a harsh punishment because such a light sentence won’t stop others from doing the same thing. And as part of the society, they want women to breathe and live freely.
