IVE won first place on Music Bank for the second week with their song ‘BANG BANG’. During the encore stage, the group was beaming with joy and received a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a token of their victory. But in the video, Wonyoung seemed to throw the flowers down instead of setting them gently. She then held the trophy, and fellow member Gaeul picked up the flowers from the floor. This moment was shared a lot across social media platforms.
Many netizens said it looked rude. They thought throwing the flowers in front of cameras showed no respect for the gift. The flowers came as a special gift and there was no rush or any kind of a problem at that time. Some compared it to old situations where other idols got criticism for not handling gifts carefully. They felt idols should be more polite with fans or staff present.

But many fans did not agree. They said it was not rude on purpose. Maybe it just happened fast because everyone was excited after winning.
