These days, many K-pop idols are venturing into films and TV shows. And now, popular girl group ITZY’s Ryujin is reportedly starring in the upcoming film called Night on Earth, alongside Park Yurim. Fans Go Gaga After ITZY’s Ryujin Joins Night On Earth Cast With Park Yurim
The film takes inspiration from a short story by writer Lim Sun-woo and follows a mutant jellyfish who changes ordinary people in unexpected ways. As per reports, the shooting of the film wrapped up recently, and it could be released sometime in 2026.
Back in 2017, Ryujin began her acting era with a small part in the movie The King. There, she portrayed a young student facing tough times from a harsh teacher. It was a small role but she left a long-lasting impression and fans still remember it. Therefore, the buzz is high for her role in the film.
Well, Midzys will get to see two Itzy members entering the acting world. Earlier, Yuna was reported to be featured in the tvN series Miss Undercover Boss. She will portray the role of the younger sibling to Park Shin Hye’s main character.
After the news came out, Yuna and Yeji expressed their excitement. The maknae stated that Ryujin poured her heart into the film amid a packed schedule and stayed strong without letting anyone see the strain.

Group leader Yeji asked everyone to watch out for Ryujin’s performance. She also talked about how much Ryujin worked hard on the film, especially juggling it with ITZY’s comeback.
