In the guide video on ITZY’s Japanese YouTube channel, the group showed fans how to cheer for their new song Rock & Roll. The clip aimed to create excitement for the comeback, with members demonstrating moves and chants. But midway through, Chaeryeong showed the unexpected gesture. Fans spotted it in a minute and shared the small clip everywhere.
Later, the K-pop idol opened up on Bubble about the awkward spot. She stated that the slip happened fast, before she could even notice. With schedules packed tight, she chose not to delay everyone by reshooting. Feeling a bit guilty, she worried it might bother fans. “But I’m so sorry, MIDZYs… I always pay attention to how I speak so I’m not cursing or using bad words,” she added.
Furthermore, the K-pop idol wished she had paused the camera anyway. Her sincere note was well received. One fan said, “It’s okay baby, not a big deal. happens sometimes. relax.” Another user wrote, “APOLOGY not needed! You didn’t do anything wrong. So, don’t say sorry. MIDZYs love you a lot!”

Fans poured in love and called her response adorable. Many said the apology was not even needed, as they understood that it was accidental. The fans also praised her for keeping things real.
