ILLIT’s recent Music Bank Festival performance in Japan has ignited intense and heated discussion online. Many fans claim that a part of the choreography and even their stage outfits looked very much like NewJeans’ (NJZ) ‘Attention’ dance break. Following which, netizens started analysing everything and shared their thoughts.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), comparison videos of ILLIT’s festival stage with NewJeans, aka NJZ’s, ‘Attention’ choreography gained a lot of attention. Netizens said that many beats and movements look very similar. One user wrote, “Helllll nahhhhhh, this is sooo not done. It’s a literal rip-off!!! How can they copy it exactly?” Another user wrote, “What’s wrong with them? They are always copying NJZ. It’s very weird.”
