After Aespa’s Karina, Winter Slams SM Entertainment Over THIS Issue!

Many K-pop idols are known for speaking their minds. One of them is aespa’s Winter. She recently criticised her company, SM Entertainment, for limiting lightstick sales to on-site booths. The decision sparked frustration among fans. Following which, Winter took to a live broadcast and expressed her disappointment. For more details, read on!

The K-pop idol expressed her frustration openly and asked for a better way to handle the situation. She stated that an online reservation system could have allowed fans to order lightsticks in advance and pick them up at the venue. This would have reduced long lines and chaos. Winter felt the company should have been more thoughtful about the fans’ experience, especially since many were travelling to support aespa. She also asked SM Entertainment to take responsibility for any mistakes and find solutions to make things easier for fans.

Not just this, Winter also addressed the issue of photocards. She stated that fans deserved all four photocards with their lightstick purchase and the company shouldn’t treat the lightstick as just a way to make money. Winter added that fans were there to show love and support for aespa, and the company should prioritise their happiness over profits. Fans loved her for speaking up.

Similarly, earlier, Karina shared her own disappointment with SM Entertainment’s decision. She revealed that she had pushed for online sales of the lightsticks before they were even announced, but production issues prevented it. She apologised to fans and acknowledged how tough it would be to wait in the heat at on-site booths. Karina assured them that the company was working to increase the number of booths to ease the process.
