Miyeon Reassures Fans Amid Concerns

On October 9, KODE shared a short clip of Trip KODE, and hinted at exciting adventures with two young K-pop stars. Even though the faces were hidden, fans quickly guessed that it was Miyeon and Jinyoung. Following which, fans expressed their thoughts.

Some felt uneasy and recalled the old show, We Got Married, where idols acted like couples. One user wrote, “Whether this is going to be broadcasted eventually, the only thing I’m certain is that I will never watch this.” Another user wrote, “Whether it’s a date or a competition, fans don’t enjoy watching shows that involve close contact with male artists.”

However, many fans stood up for Miyeon. They said idols should try new projects freely as its their choice. One user wrote, “she’s almost 30, why are nevies being so annoyingly pressed about this?! LMAO get a grip.” Another user wrote, “Ykw now I hope she starts in a kdrama soon and yall annoying asses explode once she kisses the man. It will be a nice fandom cleanse.”
