Reports claim that iconic K-pop group BLACKPINK is currently working on a new single, and it is expected to be released in early July. This news has sent fans into a frenzy. As per JTBC Entertainment’s report, several sources in the music industry stated that the K-pop group will make a comeback in July. The new song is said to have a fresh sound while still keeping BLACKPINK’s original vibe. The expectations have increased, and fans are going crazy.

However, fans also have some worries. One fan commented that the group should perform more new songs if the album release is delayed, especially since they are going on tour after three years. Another fan expressed strong feelings, stating that if BLACKPINK releases only one song in July, they would not stream it. This fan felt that they had waited for a long time and believed the group should release at least two or three songs, even if a full album is not coming out.

More On BLACKPINK’s Comeback

Earlier, on June 6, YG Entertainment, the group’s agency, released a statement about BLACKPINK’s return. They confirmed that the group had started filming a new music video for their upcoming song. The agency also shared that a famous international director is in charge of the music video. In the statement, it was also mentioned that they are filming in Korea with this director and asked fans to look forward to it.
