Here’s What Former NewJeans Member Danielle Revealed In Her First Solo Live After Contract Termination!

Fans, aka Bunnies, felt really sad and shocked when they got to know that Danielle’s contract with ADOR had been ended. Their hopes of seeing all five NewJeans members back together shattered in an instant. To comfort her fans, Danielle went live for the first time since the news came out. She took to a newly opened Instagram account and a YouTube channel to interact with everyone. Here’s what she said!

The livestream took place on January 12, 2026, and it lasted only about ten minutes. Before she started, her team clearly said she would talk just to the fans and would not mention anything about the lawsuit ADOR filed against her. Danielle opened up about how much the fans’ love had helped her through the hardest days.

She said that in the night she would read the letters and messages Bunnies sent her and those words helped her feel calm and brought a ray of light into her life when things felt dark. The former K-pop idol remembered their very first performance together, especially that silence just before they began. Lately, she has been travelling, listening more carefully to the world around her, and learning to find peace.  Danielle shared that she wrote a personal letter for the fans and hopes one day they can all read it together when the moment feels right.

She promised to give more updates in the future about everything that’s going on, including the lawsuit and other things fans are wondering about. Danielle stressed that she did everything she could to stay with the other members until the very last second, and that fight will always mean a lot to her. Lastly, she made everyone smile with the words, “this is only the beginning.”

For the unversed, last year all five NewJeans girls tried to leave ADOR because they felt mistreated. They went to court, but the decision was that their contracts would stay active until 2029. Then, in December 2025, ADOR chose to terminate Danielle’s contract and the company also said they plan to sue her, a family member, and former CEO Min Hee-jin for around 30 million dollars. The other members are handling things differently, with some going back to the group.
