His agency, BeLift Lab, shared the news through a new solo profile on their website. They described EVAN as a versatile vocalist with a fresh, trendy, and polished sound. The name highlights his strong vocals, powerful stage presence, and growing skills in writing and producing songs.
The change to EVAN is more than just a new name. It shows Heeseung wants a clean start instead of holding onto his old identity from ENHYPEN. Along with the announcement, he launched a brand-new Instagram account under the handle @h_evva_n. Fans quickly followed it, and the page gained thousands of followers in a short time. Many view this as an exciting opportunity for him to express himself without the constraints of a group.
Some fans feel happy for him and cheered for his brave decision to go solo. They believe it gives him freedom to explore different styles and connect more deeply with his music. However, not all fans are pleased. Many still feel sad about his exit and hope he might one day return to ENHYPEN.
