Heeseung’s departure from ENHYPEN has caused a significant stir on social media. Even after the singer and the company explained everything in official statements, fans just won’t accept it. They keep asking him to come back to the group. Now the remaining members have stepped out for their first public event since the news, and it’s left a lot of people feeling really emotional. On March 12, Jay, Jungwon, and Sunghoon showed up at the Prada White Sun opening at Lotte Department Store in Seoul. It was the first time any ENHYPEN members appeared in public after Heeseung’s exit was announced. Many people came to cheer them on, but you could sense the heaviness in the air. Fans watched closely and noticed Jungwon, the leader, trying hard to keep it together. It looked like he was fighting back tears the whole time and seeing that made many people upset with BELIFT LAB. They felt it was too soon to push the boys into events when they’re clearly not okay.

Earlier, on March 10. BELIFT LAB posted that Heeseung was stepping away from ENHYPEN to pursue a solo career. He’ll still be under the same label, but he won’t be part of group activities anymore. The group will carry on as six. For fans who’ve loved the seven of them since I-LAND in 2020, it felt like the ground disappeared.

However, ENGENEs didn’t stay quiet. They sent protest trucks outside the HYBE building with huge signs begging for Heeseung to return. Fans poured their hearts into the messages, hoping the company and Heeseung would see how badly they want the original lineup back. An online petition exploded too and crossed more than 500,000 signatures. Across platforms, hashtags like “bring Heeseung back to ENHYPEN” kept trending as people shared stories and requests.
