The K-pop idol made it clear that such actions harm everyone involved.

Popular fourth-generation K-pop group ENHYPEN is facing many troubling encounters with sasaeng fans. From some people breaking into their dorms to making nonstop calls during the Weverse livestream, it has left many Engenes furious. Now, the group’s leader, Jungwon, spoke up about yet another issue. So, read on to know all about it.
Jungwon Urges Sasaeng Fans To Stop Lingering Outside Agency
Recently, Jungwon went live on Weverse to talk and have fun with fans. He sang a few popular songs from other artists and answered questions. But the mood shifted when he turned serious about a sasaeng fan’s recent behaviour. He urged those fans to stop waiting right outside the company’s main entrance. The K-pop idol made it clear that such actions harm everyone involved, including staff members who feel bothered by the crowds. He further added that loyal fans would stay away as they respect and care for the team.

Many Engenes felt relieved to hear him set these boundaries openly. One wrote, “thank you for coming home, jungwon~ go and called sasaengs out! it’s true that they’re not engene who’s doing that kind of thing. and you did well today.” Another wrote, “jungwon said if you wait in front of the company you are not an engene ! YOU HEARD HIM SASAENG !!!!”

Earlier, during a livestream, ENHYPEN’s Jay’s phone kept ringing. He stopped the session briefly to speak on it, saying he had no connection to the person and felt no pull toward them. The constant interruptions stole precious time from his fun interactions with Engenes and broke the flow of the chat. Jay warned that if the calls did not end, he might pick up the call in the middle of the livestream.
It’s important to remember that K-pop idols are humans too. Let them live in peace!
